Roof lining done [On a Budget]

Post by craig2859 on Sat Dec 07, 2013 4:49 pm

So this weekend I decided to clean up the manky stained roof lining:

You can see the state of it here, at the front, I already made a start before snapping it.

After a few coats, the final result looked and feels ok too:

Spray used ........ Grey Primer [6 cans] from Poundland ....haha, and it looks great too.

I also got our steamer out and attacked the carpet, which had a huge black oil stain at the back:

Those Steamers are fantastic, I also used it to remove the old window tints, which can be a nightmare, however with the steamer, it took me 20 mins to whip the lot off, no residue at all either.

[I was quoted £80 to remove the tints by a window tinting company]

Pretty happy with the days jobs overall Very Happy

Just got the van back from the quacks. Turns out the heater matrix is blocked. So bypassed it to rule it out and no purging. Great just as the cold weather starts. Is it a big job to get at? I'm guessing dash off.
