Couple of questions

Is there supposed to be an adjuster on the alternator for tensioning the belt? I changed the belt earlier and had to lever the alternator into position and tighten the bolts up, is this normal?

Also whilst doing the job I noticed this contraption with a pipe going into the airbox. What is it? Is it something to do with the noe defunct LPG system?

Yep, thats the LPG vaporiser.

And yes, the belt tensioner works as simple as that.

Thanks for the reply. So im guessing i can remove the vapouriser without any issues? obviously i would have to remove the coolant lines.
