What are the journals like on it?

If its been that dry that the lobes have worn, you will have more problems realistically.

I do have a complete cylinder head ready to go on the shelf for just £85 plus I can post it for about £8 - which has cams lifters valves the lot.

I personally won't split a cam from a head, they go as a complete top end.

What about the rockers/lifters - if the cam has worn so much the faces of the rockers/lifter must have taken some of the pain.

I have a cam if you are still looking for one and the set of matching followers which I will number up so they end up with the original followers on the right lobes. Woody. 07970 391876.
