THAT.. is not a bull bar.... Rather it isnt one i'd fit to mine..
I want the whole child mutilating metal 1" bar that protects my headlights from cyclists pedals.

I think it is in fact a stone guard, the sort of thing fitted to offroad vehicles to protect the sump. In this case presumably protecting the radiator and/or grotty plastic bumper.

I have seen it pictured on advertising blurb for the 4x4 Porter although I don't think it was explained. The picture they used was for a snowy environment where I suppose there may be hidden rocks.

YES YES YES !!! Thats what I call a Bull Bar and its even wrap-around too !!!
From the picccie presumably American though. Would love to get my hands on one of them.
Mind you the Four Spotlights I have would be a bit high perched on top of rather than in the middle of the Bar. Still, no beggar would flash you twice.  Twisted Evil

Now that's a bull bar! Looks quite good too. Does anyone have an idea of what bull bars would be an easy fit to a Hi-jet?
We looked at a Toyota hilux center mounted one.
I would imagine that they are better of been lightweight?
Though i'd also guess one off a Bedford rascal would fit easy enough?

One possible suggestion would be a bull bar off a Suzuki SJ or Jimny Jeep as it would be very close on the width. The weight would be an issue for loss of MPG and increasing the kerb weight of the vehicle so less loading capacity.
If you can weld then make use of an old folding sofa or bunk beds easily sourced at the local tip, the round tubing is light and hard enough to protect headlights etc in a minor impact but soft enough to fold and absorb some of the force in a harder impact.
I did this for a jeep a few years ago and the results were darn good.
