Loads of space left, you could put things like brush handles in too!

People laugh when I turn up in the little van, saying 'you surely don't have a bike in the back'. Once they stop poking fun, they all come one by one to look. The Sooty Van has a bit of a National following! The best bit is when other riders come and ask if I have 'this or that' to which I reply, you mean you dont in all those acres of Van space you have in your Camper. I usually have what they need from tools to spare parts or consumables. Laughing

that stinks! but theft is everywhere so your certainly not a unique story. I keep it a secret I have bikes and that was the main purpose of getting the Sooty Van, my bikes will fit in, albeit one at a time unless I take the front wheels and fenders off the bikes, but nobody sees them. Such a shame we have to be so careful about who see's what we have, I pull the wheels out of my bikes and partially strip them when they are home, wheels in one shed, spindles in another area and chain my bikes together, then a dog that barks, although he wouldnt hurt a flea, he is nervous and barks if he hears anything. Stupid dog gets under the Van with me when I am doing any maintenance on it, it would be useful if he would pass spanners, but the most he does is lick my face when I least need it!
I was over your direction a couple of weeks ago in Sooty, I raced at Polesworth! I recently sold that bike, I had it from new (1981) but replaced it with a much younger 1983 Husqvarna CR500. If a competition for the combined age of Vehicle, Bike and Rider existed, I would be World Champion!

Yeah, no one knew my bike was there either...or so i thought. A few of my neighbours have said they have caught people in their garden before so i think they had just been snooping round at night. Your bike looks like its in good nick for its age!

Try a Ferrari PFM, less room but the women stand in line, or so I hear. My Sooty van somehow doesn't have the same attraction, but you could collect them in the Ferrari and then get them in the back to go for a quality cruise round town in your HiJet.  Embarassed

Strange collection of items there - bike bits and toolbox OK, possibly grinder, but chainsaw? Planning a hatchet job maybe - or painting your garage floor?

I think SGA must represent the august Scottish Gentlemen's Association  Very Happy
