Van load liner

Post by FrontBackSide2Side on Tue Jun 17, 2014 9:48 am

I bought this by mistake thinking it was for the pickup but its not, its for the van.

Its a genuine daihatsu load liner in fairly good condition. There is a small hole at the end nearest the seats and a couple of tatty bits near the rear door which I was going to tidy up by cutting them out symmetrically to each other

I just want what I paid for it which was £20

I'm not sure to be honest. I guess it would. Maybe HJ would know?

What van/truck did you originally buy it for? model/year/cc
as i know HJ will ask.

I dont mind cutting/drilling holes so i can still fit the seats in & get access to the rear "anchor" points.

With a bit of cutting and bodging it'll fit.

Bit round the engine cover looks like a 993cc at a guess.

Also where the front sliding doors are it will need a trim so you don't have to climb over it.

PFM yours should fit as mines a 1.3 as well. Main question, can it be couriered?
Reason I'm looking is the rear carpet liner has a liquid oil spill from prev owner. I had the carpet out, power washer, muck off, kerosine, degreaser. Didn't get it all out but reduced it. Last few weeks the stain has grown & you can't get it off your clothes! + I'm getting peeved at hoovering the liner every time in stick stuff in my van.

Yes it could be couriered, but tricky to ensure it doesn't get damaged. Just found my original 'for sale' post where I wrote "It's a bit scruffy, with a bit cut out for the 1.3 bulge. Side cut-outs are intact though."

Next time I go to that lock-up I'll take a pic or two and see about a way of boxing it up, if you like LP.

Hello FrontBack.
It was me that bought it. Thank you very much.
Lovely bit of kit to stop filling every crevice in the back with bolts, staples, sand, leaves, water, mud,  Very Happy
