Washer jet

Hi, does anybody have one of those washer Jets that sit on the outside of the van under the windscreen for sale please, my van has just failed an mot on it :-( is it necessary to remove the whole dash to replace it as I fear :-) Manny thanks, Ki

Sure is, as the clip is on the rear.

Unless you can fish the supply pipe out the hole, then bond the squirty jet in place.

You can get to the clip through the dash with the clocks out a pain to do but possible so long as you get the clip off and not the hose then pull out front swap and try not to brake your arm putting the clip back.

I do the same as Matt. Stick the beggar on there with polyurethane sealant. To much hassle with that job otherwise.
Absolutely stupid design clipping it in from behind before putting the dashboard in, when all it needed was a twist and turn 45 degrees.

Thanks for all the replys,

I got it pass the mot with out changing it, the black plastic was intact but both the little metal nozzle things had gone, I found some necklace beads bigger than the hole, guessed at the direction and superglued them in place. That's it, they seem solid enough for now :-)

Anyway thanks again for the help, I love this site :-)
