I like riches approach!!! There are times though when mounting kerbs, doing turns in the road, driving round tight dog legs etc.

I think you'll find spacers will only make the bottom of the door collision worse. Think about how the wheel turns around the strut when you steer, pad it out more and it swings with an even wider curve.

This is the collision point!

spacers were necessary to fit the wheels, as were the extended wheel studs. i dont profess perfection, but chasing the dream sure is fun!

As my Dad says "that's a puncture waiting to happen" - know it all bastard

Anyway it looks more like a Drywall screw.

In my world they are everywhere, when I open the doors in my van they fall out of the gap, and as my drive is gravel the just vanish unit they get kindly collected by a tyre!

There is space there just trim the door back and weld the two edges together then loads of clearance.

Then there is the folded seam of the inner wing that needs something doing with it.

up until recently I thought I was the only one mad enough to tinker with Hijets! I will persevere and maybe, just maybe, I'll get there!
