Hijet in Texas

Post by bigboyzcustumz on Thu May 07, 2015 11:38 pm

My name is Brent. I live in Tyler, Texas. I recently acquired a 98, V-S110 truck. Of course its been sitting a while and runs....somewhat. I found and joined this site to get ideas, guidance, and some general knowledge other than a repair manual for my little truck. I can get it registered and licensed in my state and that's what I am hoping to do. Looking forward to meeting y'all and learning more. Thanks.

I do not know what country it originated from. My wife's step-father found it in Oklahoma. I then aquired from him when he moved to Oklahoma.

And here's the roughest. Welcome. I don't know exactly what your truck is like.

What engine size? And come to think of it, has it got a Daihatsu Engine or perhaps Toyota. I am intrigued.
1998 was the changeover year here from 3 cylinder 993cc to 4 cylinder 1300 16v.

Thank you. Yes that would have been for us here the end of the line of the 3 cylinder model. Looking forward to seeing photos of the cab. Round or oblong Headlights??

They are what I call square (oblong). It has a/c which is a must here in Texas. Just hope to get it and running soon.
