Is it really a 1983?

There are not many parts around for them.

You would be better getting a later model Hijet (e.g 2001 to 2006) and put the romahome body on that.

It will work out cheaper in the short term, and much cheaper in the long term.

As Matt said, there are very few of them around and spares very hard to find. My advice is the same as Matt. Get shot of it.

But I would break it up for spares and advertise it on E-bay internationally . You can get a fortune for the rare spares especially abroad .

Buy a 1300.16valve Hi-Jet PETROL. Do not buy a 1200 or 1400 Diesel Mobile Toilet. They are absolutely rubbish.
If you want to accurately date the Romahome body, it will have fixed side windows and if you look on the Aluminium Door Frame by the top stable door hinge the date of manufacture is stamped on the frame by the top hinge.
ie: 03/83 and will have a four figure build number .
Don't waste money on the 850. Break it up for spares and buy a decent 1300.
