Plenty of bubble-wrap? There were bullbars around for the 1.0, not seen anything for 1.3s. Do you keep running into things?

I guess I am just unlucky, stones keep getting me off the roads :'(

I was thinking about sticky plastic over the lens maybe.. if I didn't love the thing so much I would get something else with cheaper or even available headlamps.

Make your own with some perspex. It can't be too difficult but then with the price of perspex it might just work out the same price.

I was given 4 sheets of 10mm thick Perspex
about 7ft. by 3'6" which came from a Hovercraft manufacturer here on the Island.

I enquired at our local plastics company and to supply another sheet was over £400.
So I stuck all four them on Wightbay for £600 and got £500 for them thank you very much. For 3mm thick Perspex large enough for the little window in the front of a Romahome between the Hi-Jet cab they charged me around £35. Diabolical.
