Post by leopard_pagan on Wed Dec 22, 2010 9:02 pm

dunno if anyone else has this quirk as i am calling it!

most of us have our heating on in the vans... i normally set mine to windscreen & feet...
i get heat on settings: windscreen, screen & feet, feet only.
BUT as soon as i put it on feet/head or head i get COLD air!!!

anyone else?
or anyone know why it does this?

Don't know why but mine does it too and apparently that's how it is meant to be. Smile

My Hijet handbook states that 'natural' air comes out of the 4 adjustable dash vents. Obviously at the moment this is *&%$ing cold air! The heated air is only directed to the vents on top of the dash and to the footwells. Something to do with keeping drivers awake, I think.

keeping drivers awake.. yup we do need that dont we with all the dozy drivers around!

Bloody annoying as i am freezing my bits off 1st thing in the van, wearing bike gloves as steering so cold!
heating works fine, its just me feeling the cold a hell of a lot more this winter!

Glad I read this as I was going to start pulling things apart to find out why it was happening.
