Front fog lights

Post by bendillon on Tue Jun 21, 2016 9:23 am

I can't help but notice that there's some blanks in the front of my bumper, and some wires dangling down for some front fog lights. (1998 1.3 EFI)

Has anyone wired up some front fog lights? If so, what lights did you go for? I'm assuming that getting hold of originals is out of the question, so has anyone found other lights that fit well?

It has been done, there was a thread a long time ago on here about it. Think it was Woody. Do a search using the advanced search feature.

if i can remember corectly i didnt use the wires that are already there..
i bought the foglights complete with wiring from the wreckers.

i have read somewhere that you indeed could use the existing wires to..

Thanks Raggy, I'll have a proper scour and try and struggle with the advanced search!

Scotia, that's exactly what I had in mind, they look awesome! off to the scrapyard for me. I'll read up, it would be great if I could use the existing wires, but I'm not adverse to doing some custom wiring

Sorry Scotia, had a go finding that thread with the advanced search....and failed Sad Can remember someone fitting some lights, sure they were from ebay and using the existing harness, can see the photos in my head (there is enough room inside to do that!) but cant for life of me find the thread they were on!

If you put a relay in the slot next to the fuse box, you will also find wires and a plug where you can just plug in a normal hijet fog light switch.
