Skylark Health Check

Post by Raggy on Fri Aug 05, 2016 6:32 pm

Well today dawned with worry as it was MOT day! Not had one since its been in my ownership and you can never tell with previous ones. Did a few last minute checks last night, lights, indicators etc and good job, found reversing lightwasnt working, fortunately was only a slightly corroded connection, cleaned up and alls well but you never know with brakes etc. So dropped it off and an hour later had the phone call....ready to pick up, passed and no advisories....whoohooo! Not used to this with my cars!
So alls ready for another years motoring and hope a few more trips out.

Well done. Mot more nail biting here in NI, it can only be done at a ministry own site - very much by the book! Rolling Eyes

Yippee, more Hijetting, always good to get the MOT out of the way.
Ps. Reverse light isn't part of the MOT Smile

Nah, paid friendly garage to sort her out first, not had much time to do the mechanicals as spent so long doing inside. I've just been very lucky!

Looking at the MOT history of some vans for sale I think hes already done some. One year its a stack of rust advisories then next year nothing and following year lots of rust advisories again.
