Oi, Doughboy Slim. Stop posting. You are stopping me from working with this fascinating Post. Go and get some cakes made or knock up some T shirts.

For that matter you can make me 3 shirts, 44" chest with a Hi-Jet on the front with : Woody, The Hi-Jet Man Isle of Wight on them. Make yourself useful. Let me know how much it will cost me. Now get a move on and get some work done you lazy beggar. Rolling Eyes

Doughboybakes listen to Woodie, he knows what he's on about. These vans if you make a bad choice (and maybe even IDF not depending what you do with it) can end up a big money pit, so listen wisely young one to the sayings of the wise old sage

Are you bringing your wares (or wears Very Happy) to The Isle of Wight Festival? Can you actually print your own T shirts or do you just buy them in?
My sons band Riff-Raff are making their third return appearance at the Festival and have a good following over here and he also leads a Mainland ( Southampton) based Foo-Fighters tribute band. He also fronts Wight Floyd. Leads a busy spare time music life.
He recently won a Music round on the Ken Bruce show and won a Bluetooth Speaker in the process. Ten minutes later Ken read out an email from a fan in The Isle of Man who reckoned Stewart's band Riff-Raff were the best group that they saw outside of the Main arena. Certainly hasn't done him any harm. Saturday night Riff-Raff did a gig in Sandown and took over £800 at a fiver a ticket. Not bad going eh?
Can we talk about some Riff-Raff T shirts being supplied please?

Woodie I dont think we will be hitting up the island of white fest, We do more NASS and Boardmasters kinda festivals. Good to hear your sons killing it though!! We don't print and make our t-shirts in UK I get everything done in Portugal. Once I get everything flowing I might think about getting myself a big printing machine, but right now I dont have the space for that haha.

Well I don't think I'm going to bother installing Bumtree and try typing that lot out. I'm bound to get that wrong by at least one digit despite being commended by Baz 6448  as a "Keyboard Warrior".

In Logi's case definitely a skilled manipulator of the keyboard and very Articulate too. (Class 1 Logi up to 44 tons?)
I was Class 2, 8 wheeler up to 24 tons.  Smile

Give us some details of the van for idiots like me that truly aren't "Keyboard Warriors". You truly must be a Keyboard Warrior stuck in front of one all day.

How much Mot is there on it DBS? (DoughBoySlim) How far away from you is it? £500 sounds reasonable but I am looking at the pictures on my phone rather than my Tablet. Be careful.

You have seen what sorry tale Debz ended up with for £500. You must go and see it and take it for a decent long run before letting your heart rule your head.

Your first port of call is here MOT History Check but as been seen on here its only a guide to what its life has been like. As Woodie says, go for a look and drive before falling in love with it. Some failure points may have been bodged or covered with sealant to get it to pass elsewhere but it gives youaclue where to look. Looking at he pics the rear door looks rusty where it seals to window but that's not insurmountable, another door from another one but its a bargaining point.

MOT is till July. I'm looking to change the rear door because of the rust. Its about 1hr 30 mins from me so I'm gonna go take a look at it on Saturday. Woodie my problem is I often let my heart rule my head haha, This has been a dream for over a year now to actually do up a hijet as an advertising piece for Doughboy iv never seen a micro van at any show iv been to or seen at last not the way I wanna do it.

And I just wanna say thank you guys so much for responding and being so helpful I really didn't expect it! I'm crazy grateful for the wisdom you guys are giving! I'm sure ill need a lot more Very Happy
