My Hijet Camper

Post by craig4586 on Sun Apr 16, 2017 1:25 am

Hey guys, i have been meaning to upload photos of my little camper for awhile now but finally here it is. I am hoping to get a lot more use this year and travel lots of places in the UK. Any recommendations from anyone at all?

Great looking van, looks in good condition, what's it like mechanically? As for places to go have a look at my threads. Can recommend Isle of Wight, west cost of Scotland (but anywhere highlands is beautiful), north east coast, all very different. Not done any camping in ours yet (only glamping as its more if a day van). Have you camped in it yet? Keep us posted where you go and how you get on.

That is a VERY tidy well desirable Camper. Beautiful original looking example. You must be well pleased with it.

Mind you having seen Raggy's Camper in the flesh, I am rather biased. Cool

Thanks for the positive comments guys.

I have owned my Hijet since July last year and i have camped in it i would say about 4 times already, one of them being last weekend in Marden, Kent (I have to say it was a little cold) but was nice to get out in it.

Mechanically it has been very good touch wood, the old chap who I purchased it from looked after it very well and i have a good handful of service receipts and history .

I did think Isle of Wight too so i think i will take a trip at some point this year
