1.0 front panel/grille

Post by FrontBackSide2Side on Sat Apr 29, 2017 11:40 pm

I'm looking at converting the front end of my 1300 hijet to the 1000 type.
I've bought the new grille but it hasn't got the hinges like my 1300 one has.
How is the front panel secured to the van?

Think they were plastic clips that invariably broke and no replacements available. Mine is secured by two allen key bolts through to rivnuts in the front panel. Going to change them to thumb screws save getting an Allen key each time I need to check the rad.

Looks like I should of come to you for the front panel Woodie! How much do you charge for the plain panel without the grille holes?

Think I'm going to have to get a bit inventive with the fastenings then, I don't really want to be able to see any bolt heads or screws etc holding it in place.

Hi FB2S. I did text you back that night to your mobile all the parts I have that you needed. But it has come back Text not delivered so presumably you have changed your mobile number.
E-mail me at thehijetmaniow@gmail.com if you still need any of the front end bits of which I have got all.

Yep! That is bizarre timing. I replied at 9-52pm without seeing this Post.
