Sort of braking Hijet Pickup / Lots of the bits for sale.

Post by HighlyJetted on Tue Sep 13, 2011 5:38 pm

All from my 48,000 - S reg - 1.3 16v pickup - 2 Previous owners on the v5c :-

All I can vouch for condition wise is I drove it 80 miles home, from Rotherham to Crewe, through the stop start Sheffield city traffic, up over the very hilly peak district, past the highest pub in England, and through the Cheshire back lane rat runs where I hammered the shit out of it. It didn't break down, didn't over heat, temp gauge stayed good, no funny noises, all pretty good really. Started with the same amount of oil and water as it finished with. No smoke. Oil is nice and clean. Other than that repair/service history is unknown.

Deals done for people who come and collect a few bits.

Can post stuff out at cost. Cheque, Bank Transfers and Postal Orders Please.

Please don't ask loads of stupid questions, it is what it is, an old hijet.

All item sold 'as seen condition' with zero warranty and no refunds. I am not a shop/dealership/tesco's!!

No, I'm in haslington.

First come first served i'm afraid as I've hung onto things for people who have never paid and collected, while other buyers go elsewhere.

But I will be taking it off tomorrow, and I can meet you near the Bentley Works - name a time and date?

Not into taking money through paypal - my mate had his account hijacked last year and they leached about £1500 out of his current account. Long battle that took months to get back after many phonecalls, letter, bank visits etc. I only have it attached to my credit card so I can buy things, and if anyone tries to hijack it my credit card company can fight the battle instead, at their cost.

Cash or postal orders please.

If I pack it up it ends up at 70cm x 70cm x 35cm and about 10kgs

Looking around that would cost around £25 to send out.

Unless you can organise a better postage deal?

Sure is the size, volumetric courier calculations suck. They call it ugly freight.

Yeah sure, I'll get on it tonight after college.

Where are you? You'll have to collect it as postage is heavy. I'm in crewe.

hijet headlight

Post by stevelav on Mon Sep 26, 2011 11:56 am

I am in need of a headlight and indicator for a highjet!

RE postage if you use ccl online parcels you can send up to 20kg next day delivery with pretty genorous parcel size for 11.99. They are by far the cheapest and have been reliable when I have used them.
