Can anyone pinpoint an involved engine/fuel fault?

Post by g149 on Fri Dec 16, 2011 11:42 am

Can anyone pin point a fault that is causing mounting garage costs with no resolve. My 2005 hijet pickup starts up fine on a cold day, however, after the first 100 yards it wants to stall and requires my foot to the floor to keep going. But after a couple of miles when warmed up the van runs as normal. The van uses petrol and LPG but the fault occurs with both. An expensive main agent has cleaned and checked the EGR system with no improvement. I now have a costly upstream lambda sensor on order as the old was found to be out of spec. (though no engine management fault code was detected). Any suggestions please. Thanks.

Might be worth borrowing a another ECU just to eliminate it if you haven't done that already.
