Identify my Jet model

Post by Steviel81 on Wed Aug 22, 2012 4:11 pm

What model is my Jet? I reckon it's a 993cc panel van with the bus side doors fitted to camper convert it

When I give my VRN for parts I get told it's a 1300, the log books stats it's a 993cc

Here's the radiator, what other identifying parts will tell me

100% pure original bitsa'

Does your chassis number match the V5?

Daihatsu dealers are known for being crap at registering cars, along with various other boo-boos.

I'll get the missus to dig the V5 out later when she gets in, never really checked to be honest. I'm going to be trying to get parts to sort it's over heating problem out, getting it pressure tested tomorrow and I want to get the right parts first time.

Didn't think they made 1300's with that front? Easiest way to find out though is count the spark plugs.. Wink

993, then. Just spent 2 hours washing mine - wish I hadn't, shown up all the bits that need doing!

Either CB41 or CB42 depending on whether or not it has Carbs or EFI.
