British justise

Post by d1noh on Fri Oct 05, 2012 8:59 pm

Rant
Cant believe a woman looking after her daughters dog let it run free onto a road and as refused to pay for the bumper on my pick up, I gave the opportunity to pay before going to the police but she declined saying she has no insurance, no money and on belifits. Police say she is 100% responsible but there is nothing they can really do unless I take her to court,
British justice for you

If my mum let my dog get knocked over I'd knock her out at the very least

That is one of life's injustices. Even if you took her to court and won you'd be out of pocket. It's not worth it.

My advice is fit a roo bar and in the future if you're faced with a split decision between the dog and the owner, well...

You are right, new bumpers are only 52.30 + post and it would cost me a lot more than that in the small claims court

as for roo's I have been trying to buy a mount/bracket from pfau-kommunalgeraete.de, to give me a serious mounting point for a bar
